He can be so sweet. Then I say something wrong or he thinks I have a tone and he yells so loud I think the walls will shake down. I don’t deserve it. I know I don’t. Why doesn’t he see that?
And what do I do? Yell back. Yell louder. Freak out. Make it worse. Stand my ground? Let him rant? Let him blow off steam? Hurts me. Or somehow make him see this is not acceptable.
So he’ll stop.
